Damjan is a senior research and teaching assistant at LARICS. He joined the team upon graduating from FER in 2005. He obtained his PhD degree in 2013, after successfully defending his dissertation entitled “Grid-based coordinated control of mobile robot formations”. In 2008/2009 he spent one year with the MARHES goup at the University of New Mexico, as a visiting researcher, sponsored through the Fulbright exchange program. He has been involved in the preparation and execution of several national and international research projects. His current research interests include control and coordination of unmanned vehicles, especially in the context of autonomous warehousing, human-robot interaction and software engineering for robotics.
