Filip Zorić was born in 1994 in Rijeka. He finished Salesianium Classical Gimnasium in Rijeka where he also got a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In July 2018, he successfully defended his master thesis Control of Multirotor-UAV by Using Variable Rotational Plane Rotors at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER). After that, he worked in robotics start-up company Gideon Brothers for 2 years as a Robotics Engineer where he got a glimpse of perception challenges related to robotic manipulation and a wide variety of challenges related to software and hardware integration of different robotic subsystems. As of October 2020, is employed as a Research Assistant at LARICS in the scope of the Aerial CORE project where's he also pursuing his PhD degree. His research                                                                                                  interests are in the intertwining of control, perception, and robotic manipulation.
