Marin Kovač was born in 1998 in Zagreb, Croatia. He finished his secondary education in the XV Gymnasium (MIOC) in Zagreb. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Control Engineering and Automation from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in July of 2019, after defending his bachelor's thesis "Decentralized frontier occupancy assignment using multiple exploration robots".
