Marko Car was born in Čakovec on 1st February 1992. He graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER) in 2015. During his undergraduate studies, he received a Rector's award for his work entitled "Augmented human machine interface for aerial manipulators". He is currently a Ph.D. student at FER under the supervision of prof. Stjepan Bogdan. His research interests are in the field of robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, aerial manipulation, and compliant control. As a Ph.D. student, he participated in the European Robotics Challenge (EuRoC) Currently, he is involved in the international research project Unmanned system for maritime security and environmental monitoring (MORUS).
