Marsela Polić graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER) in 2016 and joined LARICS in the same year. During her education, she received two “Josip Lončar” awards, Ministry of Science and Education, and the City of Zagreb scholarships due to academic success. Her research interests include soft robotics manipulation, primarily tactile sensing and compliant control, and machine learning. As a Ph.D. student, she participated in the ASSISIbf (Animal and robot Societies Self-organise and Integrate by Social Interaction – bees and fish) FP7 project. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. as part of the project Specularia, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ).
