On Tuesday, September 18th, our Prof. Kovačić and Prof. Bogdan, together with colleagues from Danieli Automation, visited the Pittini plant in Italy as a part of the initiative to introduce autonomous UAVs in the process of a rolling-mill facility status inspection. There they went on a tour of the plant and had a meeting to discuss the details of a future cooperation. Initial flights of the UAV, which should confirm the feasibility of the initiative, are planned for the beginning of November.
