Before the assessment committee (Prof. Zdenko Kovačić, Prof. Stjepan Bogdan, and Prof. Hrvoje Haramina), LARICS doctoral student Vedran Sesar, mentored by Prof. Bogdan, successfully presented and defended the topic of his doctoral dissertation entitled „Railway traffic control based on variable structure Petri nets“. The Committee agreed upon the expected scientific contributions and so, the Faculty Council and the Technical Committee of the University of Zagreb approved the given topic proposal.
