A symbollic eighteen years after the founding of the Croatian Society for Robotics (CSR), the process of robotics' popularization and expansion of the robotics activist base resulted in the foundation of the Croatian Robotics Association (CRA). Delegates of five founder entities, CSR Zagreb, Society for Robotics Split, Robofreak Varazdin, Robotics & Informatics Club Popovaca, and Society for Robotics Istria Pula, gathered in the Great Hall of the CROTEC seat in Zagreb to elect the members of the CRA bodies and express their firm determination to continue with popularization of robotics in all Croatian regions. Prof. Zdenko Kovačić and Mr. Igor Ratković were unanimously elected for the President and the Secretary of the CRA, respectively.
