Our LARICS young researcher Tamara Petrović participated in the International Multicopter Girls Camp, which was held on July 2 – 15, 2012 in Ilmenau University of Technology. Ilmenau is a town in the German federal state of Thuringia. During the camp, Tamara had the opportunity to work with international colleagues in the area of autonomous navigation of a hexacopter. In particular, the goal was to develop a software solution that will navigate a hexacopter to find and follow a radio-signal transmitter. All in all, it was a really fun and an interesting experience!
