This year LARICS was very active at the IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics – ISIE 2008 that was held in Cambridge, England, at one of the most famous and oldest universities in the world. ISIE is one of the major conferences organized by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society. Zdenko Kovačić was the Track Co-Chair for Control, also he chaired two sessions (one oral and one poster). Ivica Draganjac and Damir Arbula presented their papers, “Dual Camera Surveillance System for Control and Alarm Generation in Security Applications” and “Distributed Algorithm for Anchor-Free Network Localization Using Angle of Arrival”, respectively. On July 3, 2008 we were sightseeing in London during the sunniest day ever (we had only three heavy showers which was excellent).
