Two of our students successfully defended their diploma theses and thus became engineers. Damir`s thesis was entitled “Automated design of fuzzy control algorithms by using state-space trajectories”, while Alan`s thesis was entitled “Implementation of a control system for indoor cleaning mobile sensor platform”. Both theses were excellent, Damir`s resulting with the accepted conference paper at the IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Control 2006 in Munich, Germany, and Alan`s resulting in the successful integration of sonar and digital compass into the mobile sensor platform control system based on the donated state-of-the-art Ultimodule hardware.
