Dr. Wolfgang Drewelow and Dr. Olaf Simanski from the Institute of Automation, University of Rostock, Germany have come in Zagreb to spend one week in the Department of Control and Computer Engineering. Their visit is a continuation of the fruitful 45-years long collaboration between Rostock and Zagreb Universities. In the lecture entitled “Current Research Projects in the Institute of Automation”, our guests presented their recent research results in the fields of marine control, automotive control, and control in medicine. Dr. Olaf Simanski contributed to the book “Fuzzy Controller Design: Theory and Applications” (see previous news) with the chapter on fuzzy control of anesthesia.
