Our planar robot iCAD900, a donation from Systems Extensione, Ferndale, Australia, is growing fast and soon it will become a real SCARA beauty. We named it KIWI, after a beautiful endangered bird from New Zealand. Mr. Zeljko Postruzin from HRID d.o.o., Zagreb designed the construction of a 2 DOF mechanical extension having 1 prismatic and 1 revolute joint.
