The 1st Croatian Symposium on Artificial Intelligence, organized by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, held on November 21st, aimed to bring together the Croatian scientific community in the field of artificial intelligence, along with researchers from other scientific domains. The event facilitated the exchange of information, providing an overview of research activities and diverse applications.
Notably, Professor Stjepan Bogdan delivered a presentation titled "Primjena umjetne inteligencije u višerobotskim sustavima" (Application of Artificial Intelligence in Multi-robot Systems), shedding light on innovative perspectives. Additionally, Professor Zdenko Kovačić contributed with a presentation titled "Primjena AI u poljoprivredi" (Application of AI in Agriculture), exploring the applications of artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector. The symposium also served as a forum for contemplating the development directions of artificial intelligence in Croatia, addressing the challenges it poses to society. This encompassed considerations of its impact on professions and the job market, legal regulations, and ethical concerns.
