Prof. Zdenko Kovačić was a Keynote Speaker at the 42nd International Convention on Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Microelectronics MIPRO 2019 in Opatija, Croatia where he gave a lecture titled “Industry 4.0: Experience of Technology Transfer from an Academic Laboratory to Manufacturing Sites of Industrial Partners”. He also participated in the panel discussion on “Intelligent Production” organized by MIPRO, Danieli Automation and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. The objective of the panel was to discuss directions toward merging various information, technologies, big data and computer controls to optimize manufacturing processes in smart factories.
